This enquiry relates to a time in the mid-1960s when I was at school in England (Cheltenham Ladies College) with a dear friend from Kuala Lumpur whom I knew as Yee Pheng Chan, or to me simply Pheng. I believe that she later graduated, returned to Kuala Lumpur and became a dentist, so I hope you will not mind my enquiring if the doctor in your list may be the same person.
If so, she would remember me as Caroline Dingwall, and she would also remember my parents and brothers in Wimbledon, where she sometimes stayed with my family in school holidays.
Next year I shall be visiting Malaysia in June and it would give me the most enormous pleasure to make contact with her again.
