The Impacted Wisdom Tooth Lecture & Practical SURGERY Course (With live Surgery)

Venue: Levels 1 & 4, Block 2 BSP Campus, Faculty of Dentistry,
MAHSA University, Jalan SP2, Bandar Saujana Putra, 42610 Selangor.
The Impaction Course is a live patient course. The course begins with lecture and suturing exercises, followed by observation of an experienced surgeon removing impacted third molars. Participants will have ample opportunity to see the surgical procedures. In addition, the procedures can be viewed on a monitor. Hands on course participants will remove at least one but up to 2 impacted wisdom teeth.

Prof. Dr. Ngeow is Professor and Senior Consultant in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the Faculty of Dentistry, University Malaya (UM). He has vast experience in dental research particularly in craniofacial anthropometry, variations in mandibular nerve, and recovery following microsurgical repair .Topic: Nerve injuries and its management
Professor Dato’ Dr. Wan Mahadzir
Prof. Dr. Wan Mahadzir is Senior Consultant Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon at MAHSA University. He was awarded Fellowship in Dental Surgery from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons in Glasgow. He is currently IAOMS Councillor for Malaysia and is a Fellow of the IAOMS.
