Lead time too long
LW Ooi  · 1 years ago
On 06-Nov, I went into Sungai Petani Bakar Arang branch clinic and asked if they had a denture service and the staff said yes. I ask for lead time and she said it takes about 3 weeks, 3 weeks is fine for me, so I decide to proceed.

I don't know how long it was, but I saw that the clinic didn't call either, so I follow up with the clinic and the staff said that they missed it and forgot to notify me to do the bite mark, so I made another appointment to do the bite mark.

On 26-Nov, appointment to do the bite mark.

On 10-Dec, appointment to try out/ fitting the mock-up of the actual dentures.

On 23-Dec, same issue, no response from clinic for a while, so I go direct to the clinic to follow up, after checked, the staft saying that the dentures was sent out from the lab, but they not yet receive. I'm ok with that.

On 27-Dec, I go to follow up again, oh my god, after the staft tele-conversation with somebody (not sure the lab or what), I have been tolling that the dentures is almost complete.
When asked a few days ago it said it was ready and had been sent out from the lab, but today it says it's not ready, just almost ready? What is the story?

I wrote this article on 29-Dec, I think in a few days it will already be going on 2 months.

There is no denying that the staff and doctors are very polite, patient and friendly, but it takes too long to make a denture, right? It said 3 weeks, but now it's almost 2 months.
