Dr Shekhar Bhatia has specialized in Conservative Dentistry & Endodontics and is presently working as Senior Lecturer in International Medical University (IMU), Kuala Lumpur, in the Division of Clinical Dentistry. He is the Programme Director for the Post Graduate Diploma in Endodontics in IMU.
He was awarded Best Academic Lecturer Award in 2014, 2015 and 2019 during the prestigious Faculty Appreciation Week in IMU's School of Dentistry. To add to that, Dr Shekhar was awarded the acclaimed Teaching Excellence Award and John Simpson Trophy in the same university in 2016.
Dr Shekhar is a member of various National and International Dental Associations and has multiple publications in peer reviewed journals. He constantly pushes himself to keep track with latest research journals in his field. He has considerable experience in branch of Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics and has conducted many workshops. He has a special interest in rotary endodontics, disinfection in endodontics,
single visit endodontics and different kinds of esthetic restorations
